Basis of the edition

The present edition is based on the photographs available at the Mainzer Photoarchiv of the Hethitologie Portal Mainz, as well as the available hand-copies and relevant secondary literature up to 2019. When the original manuscripts have been collated, this is noted in the commentary.

Commentary

Previous editions: Hazenbos 2003: 109-11.

Collated (March 2020). Fragment of a two-columned tablet (max preserved thickness 31 mm), fine-grained clay, now of a reddish color.

The fragment treats offerings for the daily bread and monthly festivals of various deities as well as related personnel and suppliers.

Palaeography and orthography: Very tiny, clear script (size: 1-2 mm).

iii 2: ⸢LÚMEŠ⸣ ŠUKUR, not IGI.DÙ, see Bawanypeck 2005: 1 based on Hazenbos 2003: 110.

iii 3′: Cf. the EZEN4 ḫaḫrannaš.

iii 7′: The sign TA is closely attached to GIBIL, but it is unclear whether it may constitute a phonetic complement.
